Ballerina

Events: Odeon Hatfield

Taking place during the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, Ballerina follows Eve Macarro (Ana de Armas) who is beginning her training in the assassin traditions of the Ruska Roma. The film has quite a cast alongside de Armas, including Anjelica Huston, Gabriel Byrne, Lance Reddick, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Norman Reedus, with Ian McShane and John Wick himself, Keanu Reeves.

WGC Vintage Festival

Dates: 20-22 June

Venue: Welwyn Garden City

The WGC Vintage Festival returns for the fourth year, a unique international two day, three  evening live music and dance event, plus all things vintage. For 2025, they currently have visitors from 14 countries, including USA and all over Europe, as the event also hosts the WGC Vintage Festival dance camp with swing dance workshops by day and concerts/social dancing and shows by night.

Sausage and Cider Festival

Dates: 28 June

Venue: Oaklands, St Albans

Expect plenty of sausages and cider, plus also great music, as this popular festival arrives in St Albans. You can enjoy 30+ cider flavours, and 20+ sausage concoctions, alongside a music bill that is headlined by Scouting For Girls. Also on the bill is Barrioke, 25 Years of Kevin & Perry Go Large, plenty of tribute bands, and a sausage eating contest. Full on.

Reverend Richard Coles

Venue: The Alban Arena

Reverend Richard Coles is the only British vicar to have had a number-one hit single and to have appeared as a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing and since the first leg of this tour, he’s charmed his way to the final of ITV’s ‘I’m A Celebrity’. Is this national trinket on the verge of becoming a national treasure? This is a wonderful opportunity for an intimate evening with one of the UK’s most distinctive voices.

Katherine Ryan

Venue: Gordon Craig Theatre

Star of UKTV’s hugely popular series Parental Guidance as well as Comedy Central’s Out of Order with Rosie Jones and Judi Love, TV’s beloved Katherine Ryan makes a hugely welcome return to the stage with her brand-new live show, Battleaxe. Katherine is the creator and star of Netflix’s smash hit The Duchess along with two global Netflix comedy specials: In Trouble and Glitter Room as well as 2022’s Missus on Sky/Now TV.

Harry Hill

The Badger Parade is back on! Join Harry Hill on his Diamond Jubilee lap of honour as he celebrates 60 glorious years of fun, laughter, and low-level disruption. Letchworth Open

Now in its fifth year, the Letchworth Open Exhibition is Hertfordshire’s largest celebration of creative talent. This exciting event showcases an extraordinary range of artwork from artists across Letchworth and surrounding areas. The Open Exhibition is all about diversity, featuring works from established professionals, emerging artists, graduates, students, amateurs, and even first-time artists of all ages.

Alban Day

Venue: St Albans

Alban Day is a spectacular celebration of Alban, Britain’s first saint from whom St Albans gets its name. Join the annual Pilgrimage from mid-morning with an impressive city centre procession of giant 12ft tall carnival puppets and a colourful re-enactment of events which led to Alban’s execution at the hands of the Romans. The day continues with vibrant entertainment including Roman Gladiators and interactive historic activities that share the story of St Albans.

Farm Yard in the Field

Venue: Tewinbury Farm Hotel

This summer, Tewinbury Farm Hotel is cranking up the vibes with Farm Yard in the Field, a brand-new family-friendly festival series packed with live music, mouth-watering street food, and countryside charm. Set against the stunning backdrop of Tewin Water, guests can sip a cold drink, soak in the atmosphere, and enjoy incredible tunes as the sun sets over the Hertfordshire countryside.

The new festival series will be bringing the ultimate tribute acts, top-notch DJs, and the best local talent to make sure these summer nights are unforgettable. Forget overcrowded fields and overpriced drinks – this is all about good vibes, delicious eats, and rustic festival magic. Think street-style food served from horsebox stalls, craft drinks from the famous Baa Bar, straw bales to lounge on, fire pits for cosy chats, and a countryside backdrop that’s straight out of a postcard. 

Things kick off on Saturday 7th June, where you can belt out your favourite Oasis anthems with Definitely Could Be, spice up your life with 90s Spice, enjoy the sounds of local star Tom Wackett, and dance into the night with DJ Luc Sinclair.

For the next instalment on Saturday 28th June, Mardy Bums will be bringing the best of Arctic Monkeys, Twist of Abba are turning up the nostalgia, Jade Morgan will be showcasing her incredible vocals, and Hayley Romer will be on the decks.  

Tickets are £25 for adults, £12.50 for kids (ages 2–12), and free for little ones under 2. Got a furry friend? Bring them along – dogs are welcome! Gates swing open at 3pm, live music starts at 4pm, and the party keeps going until 11pm.
