What inspired you to start an online hedge plant business?

Our love for gardening and a family tradition of growing hedge plants naturally led us to share our passion with a wider audience. By going online, we’re able to bring a piece of Cheshire’s greenery to homes across the nation.

Can you tell us more about the varieties of hedge plants you stock?

Absolutely! We grow seven different varieties, each suited to various needs and preferences. Photinia Red Robin, Cherry Laurel, English Yew, Portuguese Laurel, Traditional Privet, Griselinia and Leylandii.

What makes your hedge plants unique?

All our plants are grown right here in Cheshire, ensuring they are well-adapted to the British climate. We take pride in our sustainable growing practices and the exceptional quality of our plants.

How do you ensure the quality of your plants?

Quality is our top priority. Each plant is carefully nurtured from our fields to the moment they’re delivered, with regular checks on the nursery to ensure they are healthy and robust. Our experienced team uses sustainable methods to maintain the highest standards.

What’s the most popular hedge plant you sell?

Prunus Rotundifolia, or commonly known as Cherry Laurel, is a firm favourite due to its versatility, dense foliage and ideal screening characteristics.

How do you handle nationwide delivery?

We’ve partnered with local reliable couriers to ensure our plants arrive in perfect condition. We currently send around 120 pallets of our Cheshire grown hedging every week across the UK as well as local deliveries.

Can you give us some tips for planting and caring for hedge plants?

Proper soil preparation, regular watering, and timely pruning are key. Each variety has its own care guidelines, which we provide with every purchase. We’re also available for any ongoing questions customers may have post-purchase.

What’s the best part of running a family business?

It’s all about the connections we build – both with our customers and within our family. Sharing our knowledge, seeing our plants thrive in gardens across the country, and working together makes it incredibly rewarding.

What future plans do you have for your business?

Our goal is to continue providing top-quality plants across the UK sold with good honest family values offering trust reliability and great plants that will last a lifetime.
