Newly formed luxury hospitality and lifestyle brand LHM (Legian Hotel Management) is set to build on the iconic reputation of its grande dame hotel The Legian Seminyak, Bali with The Legian Sire, Lombok. Located on one of Lombok’s finest beaches – Sire Beach – the all-suite and villa resort will have staggering views towards the Gili islands, Bali’s Mount Agung and Lombok’s Mount Rinjani. It’s set to make one of Lombok’s most impressive and most luxurious design statements, with architecture headed up by Indonesian talent Putu Edy Semara.

Sunset Tower, one of Los Angeles’ most iconic hotels, will complete a major multi-million-dollar transformation this summer. The hotel has been an exclusive hub for the Hollywood elite since opening its doors in 1931. Today, the hotel has been lovingly restored to maintain its true character without losing its sense of history. The updated design will reveal elegant, stylish new interiors, a beautifully designed Terrace Bar, a fresh outdoor terrace and swimming pool, plus 7,000ft2 fitness and wellness area and spa. The chicest and most welcoming room in town – The Tower Bar and Restaurant – will remain untouched.
UNIVERSITY ARMS, CAMBRIDGE

University Arms is a landmark hotel located in the historic centre of Cambridge which first opened in 1834 as the city’s original hotel. Following a £80m transformation, the iconic hotel is set to reopen this summer with 192 beautiful and playfully designed new hotel rooms and suites, each complete with an individual library. Each guest will have the pleasure of experiencing the new destination restaurant Parker’s Tavern. Chef Tristan Welch has created a menu for Parker’s Tavern which is entirely British and underpinned by Cambridge and East Anglian producers. Seasonally changing, the menu is “as unpredictable as mother nature”, heritage-inspired and flamboyant.

The storied history of Champagne will take on another dimension this month with the launch of the Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa. The hotel will make its debut as the destination’s first contemporary luxury hotel, which embraces the lush bounty of the wineries and the surrounding UNESCO World Heritage Site. The ever-expanding Six Senses will open a resort in the southwest of Bali at Uluwatu, atop a rugged cliff with spectacular ocean views. Six Senses Hotels and Resorts is expanding to an exciting island location in Cambodia, a country steeped in history and re-emerging onto the world stage of exotic destinations. Six Senses Krabey Island is comprised of 40 pool villas set around the naturally landscaped 30-acre island. A short water taxi will transfer guests to the resort which comprises private pool villas with individual plunge pools, decking, and mini wine cellars. Snacks, refreshments and light meals are served poolside, and a deli complete with an ice cream parlour is also planned. An elevated bar will offer the choice of stunning views out to the sea or a cosy sunken area in which to relax and enjoy evening libations.

Silversands will introduce a new way to experience Grenada, the Spice Island of the Caribbean. The first major resort project to open on Grand Anse Beach in 25 years, the resort will include 43 spacious suites, as well as nine Hillside and Beachfront villas for purchase with Grenadian citizenship included. The sleek property will be anchored by a stunning 100-metre pool – the longest in the Caribbean.
