White Christmas | National Gallery

This December the National Gallery is celebrating the festive season with quintessential Belgian abbey beer, Leffe, by launching a series of special pop-up film screenings. From Wednesday 14 December to Sunday 18 December, Christmas Classics will be aired in the National Gallery’s stunning Wohl Room. Festive film fans can enjoy favourites including It’s A Wonderful Life,  Love Actually and  White Christmas – a romantic tale starring Bing Crosby and set a Vermont Lodge where it is almost always a White Christmas.

No festive period would be complete without a ‘bar humbug’ or two, so jump aboard the floating platform, snuggle up beneath a blanket and lose yourself in this festive fairytale which has itself become part of Christmas folklore. Expect a range of Christmas front-runners including this timeless classic in which an angel helps a despairingly frustrated businessman by showing him what life would have been like if he never existed.
