London Skybar
For New Year’s Eve 2019, London Skybar presents an exclusive must-attend party to ring in 2020. Be a VIP guest and discover an extravagant and luxurious party at the top of the Millbank Tower, complete with fireworks and a 360-degree view of the city. The champagne will flow and attendees will be treated to canapés, live DJs and burlesque, plus have access to the deluxe movie theatre and receive a complimentary ‘going home’ survival kit for the next day.
Bubbledogs
The Fitztrovia champagne and hotdog bar will host a mouth-watering New Year’s Eve event in the form of a champagne and fried chicken party. In collaboration with Shoreditch restaurant Two Lights, guests will sample signature buttermilk fried chicken, while sommelier Sandia Chang pours her favourite champagnes behind the bar.
The Lanesborough
The Lanesborough is throwing the ultimate house party across the ground and lower-ground floors of the hotel. In partnership with Moët & Chandon, the event will be a luxe and unique way to party into 2020, with the hotel styled as a house-party-come-nightclub featuring top DJs and live music in each room. The Belgravia Ballroom will have a reggae, latin and salsa theme with rum and champagne on offer, whilst the The Library Bar and The Withdrawing Room will be playing house music and serving delicious cocktails.
The Little Yellow Door
Notting Hill neighbourhood favourite The Little Yellow Door will also be hosting a house party, but unlike the Lanesborough it will have a 70s theme. Get your flares on, grab a retro cocktail and listen to the tunes of the funkiest decade, so you can experience all the fun of a house party – without the cleaning up.
The Lighterman
King’s Cross bar and restaurant The Lighterman is hosting an intimate New Year’s Eve 3-course supper for £65 per person, including a glass of champagne. Mains include 45-day aged Dexter beef fillet, Roast Cornish halibut and a goat’s cheese & spinach Wellington. After the feast, guests can take to the bar for drinking and dancing in the picturesque riverside pub.
Grind
Cafe and restaurant group Grind’s New Year’s party is happening at its stylish and contemporary Greenwich venue. Party-goers can sip Grind’s signature espresso martini and dance the night away to live DJs with a glass of complimentary bubbles on arrival and at the countdown. For an extra £50 a head, a three-course set menu is available so guests can enjoy a festive meal before the party begins.
Rockwell
Rockwell is throwing a jungle-themed party featuring performances from acrobats, snake charmers and live DJs. As well as exotic cocktails, there will be complimentary sharing plates and Veuve Clicquot champagne served at midnight. Guests are encouraged to dress up in animal prints, masks and feather – it’s set to be a wild night.
COYA
A futuristic New Year’s Eve will take place at Mayfair’s Coya this year. Expect DJs, special performers, and with a premium unlimited drinks package, a whole lot of fun. Coya’s glamorous Pisco Bar and Lounge will be transformed into a futuristic fantasy, and guests can begin the night sampling Coya’s signature Peruvian dishes by Chef Sanjay Dwivedi before moving to the dance floor.
Hoppers
Sri Lankan restaurant Hoppers usually has queues bursting out of the door, but its New Year’s Eve bash is an excuse to fully immerse yourself in the rustic traditions, flavours and sound of Sri Lanka with a Raksha Yakka dinner. The Raksha Yakka is all about starting 2020 with a clean slate and celebrating the new year with traditional music and mesmerising decor.
Bloom
Kensington’s hottest new bar is selling early bird New Year’s Eve tickets for just £20, including a glass of fizz. Whether you choose to perch at the Instagrammable bar or take to the huge tiled dance floor, Bloom will be blasting classic party tunes into the night and showing the fireworks on screen at midnight so you don’t miss out.
