PUPPY BRUNCH
Chelsea Restaurant and Bar – GOAT – is hosting a brunch party certain melt the hearts of all this weekend as they encourage diners to bring along their puppies. The event, in support of Dogs Trust, will see guests enjoy canapes, bottomless prosecco and music from the restaurant’s resident DJ, while their four-legged friends feast on Lillie’s Kitchen treats. Everyone will leave with a doggy bag filled with goodies from luxury wholesaler of pet products, Fletcher of London.
FEAST CANTEEN
This week saw the opening of Feast Canteen, a slick canteen for the modern age and a first for its kind. Featuring an impressive line-up from London’s street food, Feast Canteen will be west London’s latest hotspot for brunching, lunching, feasting and food on the go. Diners can choose from a mouth-watering array of dishes – from the likes of Made of Dough, Patty & Bun, Breddos Tacos, Salvation in Noodles – and share the same table without having to book.
MARY STUART AT DUKE OF YORK THEATRE
Two queens. One in power and one in prison. It’s all in the execution. Schiller’s political tragedy takes us behind the scenes of some of the most crucial days in British history. Playing both Elizabeth I and Mary Stuart, Juliet Stevenson (Hamlet) and Lia Williams (Oresteia) trade the play’s central roles, decided at each performance by the toss of a coin.
GIN AND TEA COCKTAIL PAIRING MENU AT BENARES
Michelin-starred chef Patron Atul Kochhar and luxury brand, The East Indian Company, are bringing the vibrancy of the East to a modern dining setting in the West with a delectable new menu for Benares in Mayfair. Exclusively for the month of February, visitors can indulge in a bespoke gin and tea cocktail paired menu inspired by Atul’s frequent trips to his homeland. Highlights from the menu include South Indian Tellicherry Pepper and Tamarind Soup paired with a Ginger Sparkler cocktail, Fenugreek Flavoured Chicken Supreme served with a Tropical Punch and Coconut Panna Cotta with a Gin SOur Twist.
