Here’s what not to miss this weekend in London
WOW – WOMEN OF THE WORLD FESTIVAL
In the year that marks the 100th anniversary since some got the vote in the UK and when #MeToo shook the world, WOW – Women of the World brings together artists, writers, politicians, comedians and activists for a five day festival of workshops, talks, music and more.
10 GREEK STREET
For this weekend only, Soho hotspot 10 Greek Street is welcoming renowned chef Kieran Morland of Merah Putih in Bali into its kitchen for a veritable feast of Indonesian treats. Priced at £30 per person, the menu will showcase Merah Putih’s signature dishes, including canapes Soto Udang (lobster, turmeric broth, leek, vermicelli, kale) and Randang Pipi (beef cheek rendang, wild garlic, puffed tendon). Dessert is a Citrus Granita with Coconut Cream and Rhubarb.
PING PONG
Get a taste of the East in the West End at Ping Pong, London’s go-to for a dim sum dinner of absolute dreams. Perfect for pre-theatre dining, the menu boasts a tantalising array of dumplings, bao buns, noodle dishes and more, plus a creative cocktail list to kick things up a notch. Just a short stroll from Theatreland, make a night of it by concluding your Chinese banquet with an evening of insatiable energy, fun and friendship at the Adelphi Theatre where firm musical favourite, Kinky Boots is showing.
PHOEBE CUMMINGS X TOAST
‘Elements of Materiality’ is the concept behind the TOAST SS’18 collection, exploring in-depth the idea that we are all connected, despite our differences. To bring the collection to life, the sought-after brand has collaborated with British artist, Phoebe Cummings, to create a unique installation, titled ‘Season’, entirely made from clay. See this innovative exhibition, plus the collection this weekend where they’re on display in Shoreditch’s Protein Studios.
SOMEWHERE IN BETWEEN

Art, science and somewhere in between. The Wellcome Collection’s latest exhibition brings together the installations from four contemporary artists and the scientists they worked with to explore how artists can give shape to the human experience.
