Only The Poets

Alt-pop four-piece Only The Poets have announced that their much-anticipated One More Night EP is out on 7 June. The EP sees the band at their most captivating, consolidating their electrifying synch-pop sound and illuminating the heartfelt emotion in their lyrics. Currently embarking on a massive 30-date tour across Europe and the UK, the band kicked off the tour by releasing the new single Gone By Now—a song that has long been a fan favourite.

The Jockey Club

The start of the much-anticipated series of music events from The Jockey Club Live is almost here, with fans across the country snapping up tickets to experience world-class live music alongside a thrilling evening of racing held at the venerable Jockey Club Racecourses. Opening the season will be a ground-breaking new show from Pete Tong’s Ibiza Classics, followed by an evening of nostalgic hits with JLS on their ‘Summer Hits’ tour.

Forest Live

Forest Live is a major live music series in our nation’s forests. Get in amongst the trees to hear the best live music, connect with nature and discover unique locations across the country. This is the ideal concert experience in beautiful natural woodland arenas every summer, with a relaxed atmosphere and an incredible soundtrack.

By buying tickets from Forestry England, you are helping to grow and protect our nation’s forests for generations to come. They plant over 7 million trees in England yearly and protect trees and wildlife habitats from climate threats. Everyone in England lives within a one-hour drive of one of the nation’s forests.

Forest Live comes to Cheshire this month on 14-15 June. The organisers have announced Sting and Nile Rodgers & CHIC as the first artists performing at its 2024 shows, which will take place in unique forest settings throughout June and July.

The legendary Sting will light up Delamere Forest on 15 June with his special My Songs 2024 concert. Accompanied by an electric rock ensemble, My Songs 2024 is an exuberant and dynamic show featuring his most beloved songs, written throughout Sting’s illustrious career with The Police and as a solo artist. Fans can expect to hear Englishman In New York, Every Breath You Take, Roxanne, Message In A Bottle, and many more.

Musical pioneers Nile Rodgers & CHIC will bring the ultimate party to Delamere Forest the day before, with support from British singer-songwriter Sophie Ellis-Bextor and the 80s-inspired contemporary pop band Deco.

Red Hot Chili Pipers

There has never been anything quite like The Red Hot Chilli Pipers, from their formation in 2002 and a cameo appearance at T in the Park in 2004 with The Darkness to opening the main stage in their own right in 2014. The past 20 years have seen the Red Hot Chilli Pipers become the most famous bagpipe band on the planet. Bagpipes with attitude, drums with a Scottish accent and a show that leaves people with warm hearts and smiles on their faces.

Classic Ibiza

This is an open-air celebration of White Isle-inspired house music reinvented by a 32-piece orchestra, headline DJs, and live vocalists. Expect a feel-good atmosphere, with people of all ages enjoying iconic music in a stunning location. The headline act features the 32-piece Urban Soul Orchestra (USO), conducted by Stephen Hussey, known for their work alongside dance music greats like Groove Armada, Robert Miles, and Nightmares On Wax.

Royal Cheshire County Show

What could be more fun than the Royal Cheshire County Show? Competitions, attractions, animals, and some of the best food and shopping in Cheshire make this an amazing family outing celebrating the Cheshire countryside. The Horse Show, Sheep Show, Food Hall, and Food Live Theatre are always popular, and the show will feature over 3,000 beautiful animals.

Visual Arts Cheshire (VAC) is a Northwich-based arts organisation that often produces fabulous shows. This one in June is no exception, featuring a host of animal paintings from selected artists. VAC aims to promote visual arts in Northwich through various initiatives and events, including exhibitions and workshops.
