Get ready for a fun-packed afternoon where family fun takes flight. Join Essex & Herts Air Ambulance at their Heli-bration event to celebrate the launch of the amazing new AW169 helicopter. Set against the stunning backdrop of Hatfield House, your local life-saving air ambulance is excited to unveil its newest addition to its fleet and would love you to join them.

You’ll be able to see the helicopter up close, meet the crew, and watch as it takes to the skies. There really is something for everyone to enjoy, from face painting to fun rides, tasty refreshments, and the opportunity to learn CPR – a valuable life-saving skill.

Lumos Live

After a successful year of indoor candlelight events, Lumos Live announces a series of outdoor sunset candlelight experiences. On 5 July, Lumos Live starts its ‘Sunset Candlelight Experiences’ for the summer at Hylands Estate, Chelmsford. The best hits from Hans Zimmer, Taylor Swift, and Coldplay will be played surrounded by over three thousand LED candles. There will be a bar and food vendors running all evening.

The acclaimed destination for experiential art, Illusionaries, has announced its latest exhibition, “Entheon: A Sanctuary of Visionary Art”. This unique exhibition features the transformative works of internationally acclaimed artists Alex Grey and Allyson Grey. Tickets are on sale now via Illusionaries.com.

The third exhibition from art hub Illusionaries, Entheon invites the public to embark on an immersive journey into humanity and spirituality. Located at Crossrail Place in Canary Wharf, the exhibition will transport visitors through immersive rooms and captivating installations, each meticulously designed to engage the senses and evoke contemplation through soundscapes, animation, projection, and colour.

Secret Island Festival

Location: Mersea Island

Secret Island Festival (SIF) has announced the first wave of confirmed acts for the fourth outing of the hugely successful, grassroots, day summer music event. Drum and Bass heavyweight DJ Hype, DJ Hazard, and rising star Kara have been confirmed. Semi Delicious label boss Demi Riquísimo and label contributor Michelle Manetti will bring the London and international underground scene to the island this summer, joined by rising star, Scarlett O’Mally.

The Tiger Who Came To Tea

Direct from the West End, the Olivier award-nominated smash hit show, The Tiger Who Came to Tea, returns on tour. The doorbell rings just as Sophie and her mummy sit down to tea. Who could it possibly be? They certainly don’t expect to see a big, stripy tiger at the door! Join the tea-guzzling tiger in this delightful family show, packed with oodles of magic, sing-a-long songs, and clumsy chaos.

Gladys Knight

Deadpool & Wolverine

Location: Odeon Chelmsford

While the Marvel credits scene kicked off the long-awaited cross-pollination of the MCU and X-Men worlds, Deadpool & Wolverine goes all-in, pairing Ryan Reynolds’ smartass sort-of-hero with Hugh Jackman’s rejuvenated Wolverine (don’t worry, timeline-sticklers, it’s set before Logan). Speaking of returning heroes, look out for Jennifer Garner as Elektra, spinning her sai daggers for the first time in two decades – and watch this space to find out who The Crown’s Emma Corrin will play as the lead villain.

Latitude Festival

The acclaimed Latitude Festival is poised to return to the beautiful Henham Park in Suffolk from 25-28 July. Headliners Duran Duran, Kasabian, Keane, London Grammar, and Sara Pascoe spearhead an eclectic lineup that fuses music with the arts across an immersive cultural weekend.

Comedy Lineup at Latitude
