Jonny & The Baptists (Jonny Donahoe and Paddy Gervers) bring their critically acclaimed show on a UK tour in 2025, following its success at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Taking its title from David Cameron’s short-lived attempt to measure the happiness of Britain’s population, this musical comedy blends sharp political satire with raw emotional depth, exploring mental health, grief, and the chaos of modern life.

Murder Trial Live: Step Into the Jury Box at Warrington

A unique theatrical experience in which Parr Hall will be transformed into a courtroom for a dramatic murder case is coming to Warrington. In this interactive performance – based on a true story – ticket holders will discover what it’s like to be a member of a jury during a captivating and complex trial experience where justice must prevail. Both the prosecution and defence will present their cases, cross-examine witnesses, and at the end it’s up to the audience to deliberate before deciding: ‘Guilty or not guilty…’

This powerful exhibition features photography from all over the world to challenge visitors’ own beliefs. Delving fully into his archive, the showcase will collect together some of Steve’s most compelling photography – covering everything from foreign wars for major news organisations to the Hollywood celebrities such as Cate Blanchett and Natalie Portman, musicians, artists and politicians he has shot for The New York Times.

Mars by Luke Jerram: A Stunning Space Art Installation (Runcorn)

Venue: Norton Priory Museum

Mars, Luke Jerram’s mesmerising planetary art installation, moves into a new orbit at Norton Priory Museum and Gardens in Runcorn. Following the incredible success of Museum of the Moon in October 2021 and Gaia in January 2024, Mars will complete the trilogy of the UK artist’s out-of-this world installations in Norton Priory’s impressive visitor centre atrium. Measuring six metres in diameter, Mars is a touring artwork featuring detailed NASA imagery of the Martian surface.

The crowning glory of Broadway, the West End and beyond, the international smash hit musical SIX makes its royal return to Chester Storyhouse following its previous sold out run. From Tudor Queens to Pop Princesses, the six wives of Henry VIII take to the mic to tell their tales, remixing 500 years of historical heartbreak into an 80-minute celebration of 21st century girl power. These Queens may have green sleeves but their lipstick is rebellious red.

A Taste of Altrincham is a 10-day celebration of the town’s vibrant food and drink scene, and was officially launched at a special event hosted by Altrincham BID recently. The launch, held at the Everyman Altrincham, welcomed Altrincham’s food and drink businesses

and partners to discover what’s in store for this exciting culinary event, running from Friday

28th February to Sunday 9th March 2025.

A Taste of Altrincham promises to showcase the town’s diverse dining scene, including its many independent cafes, bars, pubs, restaurants and, of course, Altrincham Market and Market House. The event will feature a series of themed activities, special offers, and unique collaborations designed to highlight the creativity and passion of Altrincham’s food and drink community.
