With a portfolio of 28 magazine brands in the UK and internationally, and now with its digital agency division – Digithrive.   ZMG is  an award-winning global digital marketing company based in London that has grown considerably in the 3 years since launched.  As a bi-product of this expansion, they are currently recruiting for an accomplished Business Development Manager with experience in the Digital Marketing space.

About The Business Development Manager Role

The Business Development Manager role will give you an exciting opportunity to develop both your technical and client servicing skills in an established Digital Marketing environment.

Key Responsibilities for the Business Development Manager:

* Strategically build and maintain your own sales pipeline in a wide range of industries

  • Run the daily activity of various accounts, including status meetings, finances, timings and reporting
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients
  • Lead and run digital projects
  • Work closely with the Strategy Team to assist with planning and ensure briefs meet client objectives
  • Analyse and interpret digital and social media data to produce insightful and actionable reports
  • Identify optimisation opportunities for campaigns and liaise with media agencies to deliver

* Create and manage appointments for meetings both in the office and externally

* Act as the main point of contact for all sales leads and appropriately respond to any prospective business

* Effectively update the Managing Director and management team with sales pipeline news

About You

If you are currently in a business development role or are currently working as a business development manager this is the ideal next step in your Digital Marketing sales career.

Preferred Skills and Competencies of the Business Development Manager:

* Ideally 2-3+ years sales experience in the Digital marketing space

* A results driven and organised personality with previous examples of target exceeding

* Degree calibre

* Adaptable to the constantly changing industry of Digital Marketing

* Preferably experience using Hubspot or a similar CRM

The Requirements – Digital Account Manager

  • 3+ years experience in a similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of all digital, social and paid media channels – especially Programmatic
  • Experience managing a spectrum of digital and social productions
  • Experience running integrated campaigns and collaborating with various internal and external teams
  • Experience producing high volumes of digital work across complex and extensive media plans
  • Organised with a keen eye for detail
  • Experience with community management
