Creating an elegant harmony between design and architecture, Danish architect and professor Bodil Kjær designed the Indoor-Outdoor Series in 1959. The extensive line merges functional and aesthetic qualities, making it suitable for outdoor as well as indoor use. Moving the attention to detail reserved for indoor furniture outside, Børge Mogensen’s Outdoor series is crafted in solid, untreated FSC™-certified teak and tactile Sunbrella fabric. The original slatted designs of the 60s and 70s include foldable chairs, benches and a table first conceived for Mogensen’s private balcony. Now reworked to modern sensibilities, they stow elegantly thanks to their clever, collapsible construction and practical wall mounts.
Made with relaxation in mind, Morten Gøttler’s Cuba Chair Outdoor is detailed with flat-weave rope for a supportive embrace.
