This Christmas, The Langham, London, is teaming up with Britain’s beloved toy store, Hamleys, to create a magical festive wonderland. Drawing on the rich heritage of both The Langham and Hamleys, the hotel will be transformed with enchanting Christmas trees, a Hamleys Grotto, a festive afternoon tea, and exclusive seasonal packages, bringing the joy and wonder of the season to life.
From 7 November, the hotel will be adorned with spectacular Christmas trees, designed to capture the delight of the season. These beautiful decorations will add an extra layer of festive magic, ensuring every visit is truly unforgettable.
For families, The Langham has curated the exclusive Christmas with Hamleys package. This special offer includes an overnight stay in a luxurious Executive Room or above, exclusive access to the Hamleys Grotto, where children can meet Santa and his elves, and a Christmas tree in your suite, complete with festive treats. Adults will also enjoy a bottle of Taittinger Champagne to add a sparkling touch to the celebration.
The Langham’s restaurants and bars, overseen by Michel Roux, will offer festive dining from 7 November. At Chez Roux, guests can indulge in seasonal delights like Venison Tartare and Buccleuch beef with morel sauce, as well as decadent desserts like a mince-pie tart. On Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Eve, specially curated set menus will be available, complete with a glass of champagne and canapés.
For a festive twist on the hotel’s traditional afternoon tea, the Hamleys Festive Afternoon Tea will feature whimsical patisseries shaped like iconic toys, creating a delightful experience for children. Adults can also enjoy an afternoon tea sprinkled with a little Christmas magic, honouring The Langham’s legacy as the birthplace of afternoon tea since 1865.
At The Wigmore, guests can enjoy a more informal pub setting with mouthwatering festive food and a wide selection of drinks. It’s the perfect spot for those looking for a vibrant, relaxed atmosphere. For a sophisticated evening, visit Artesian, where the exquisite cocktail menu, including the signature Alter Ego, is paired with new culinary delights, promising an unforgettable experience.
The Langham’s cookery school, Sauce, will also embrace the festive spirit, offering a series of holiday-themed classes for both adults and children.
