Whilst many people are opting to ditch the booze this January, one London restaurant is doing things differently with Ginuary…

Oblix at the iconic Shard is shunning Dry January in favour of Ginuary, a celebration of all things – you guessed it – gin.
Each week of January shines the spotlight on a new gin brand with an exclusive cocktail menu specially created for Ginuary. One cocktail from each menu will be paired with a complementary dish by executive chef Marcus Eaves, plus guests can sample the scrumptious small plates like a black pepper wagyu burger with juniper mayonnaise, fried dill and pickles.
The first week sees Portobello Road gin take centre stage on 6 January with a focus on refreshing cocktails like the Singapore Sling and tangy Gimlet. Week two is Italian brand Villa Ascenti who will create a bitter white Negroni and sour Limoncello Bramble. The third week will be taken over by Sipsmith and guests will be treated to Milk Punches, Highballs and Spritzes. Last but not least, Hendricks will be bringing fruity cocktails to Oblix as well as a flight of three mini Martinis.
Enjoy panoramic views on the capital whilst sipping on a specially curated cocktail – sounds to us like a cure for the January blues.
