Ever heard of the UK coffee week? You have now. The London Coffee Festival returns once again this year at the Old Truman Brewery in Brick Lane – promising a gourmet flow of the finest coffee, artisan food stalls, slick demonstrations and even live music all weekend. If coffee isn’t your thing, the festival also features art exhibitions and plenty of drinks that might be a little stronger than your morning wake up call (coffee-based or otherwise, of course).

Starting March 28th until the 31st, the London Coffee Festival remains the flagship event of the nation’s yearly coffee celebration. The festival began in 2012, with more than 7,000 visitors and 100 exhibitors in its first year. Today, the festival hosts more than 35,000 foodies and coffee perfectionists – remaining one of Brick Lane’s hottest events.

The LCF offers some of the best coffee workshops in London. For a £5 donation, you can learn how to make marvelous coffee concoctions with industry standard machines, La Marzocco. The coolest part? The proceeds go towards Project Waterfall – a charity that brings clean water to coffee-growing communities. Whether you want to bring your date along and learn cute latte art together or show your mum how much you appreciate her with your coffee skills this Mother’s day.

Coffee Based Alcoholic Beverages

For a vibrant multi-sensory weekend, the London Coffee Festival is fun for all the family. Prices range from £4.50 for teen entry, £18.50 for standard admission and up to £90 for the full VIP weekend (under 12’s go free). Tickets available at londoncoffeefestival.com
