Three Essex hotspots to mark UK Coffee Week this week
BakeHouse Coffeeshop
Great tasting coffee is at the heart of what they do at the Bakehouse in Maldon. In fact they love coffee so much that they have created their very own artisan ‘Bakehouse Barista’ blend – smooth, aromatic and locally roasted in Writtle.
Driink Coffee Club
Driink was founded in 2018 by tattoo artists Jason Butcher and Lianne Moule with the mission of bringing speciality coffee to Chelmsford. In 2019 Joel Rivers, head of coffee, joined the crew. One for top notch speciality coffee and good customer service.
Gunton, Colchester
The traditional family grocers and coffee roasters in the heart of Colchester celebrated their 85th anniversary in 2021. They are still thriving in their Crouch Street store, featuring a fab deli counter plus, of course, top of the range hand roasted coffee.
