Barry’s Bootcamp St Paul’s
Barry’s sixth London studio has opened in St Paul’s providing its signature treadmill and floorwork classes in a brand new ‘red room’. Expect to push yourself to your limit with the help of a motivating trainer, with the reward of a delicious protein shake at the end – we love the banana and peanut butter.
Frame Angel
Frame has brought its friendly barre, pilates, HIIT, dance and pre and post-natal classes to Angel, Islington. Whether it’s dance cardio set to the latest tunes or barre to really work those muscles, Frame has a great variety of workouts led by expert instructors which will leave you buzzing with endorphins.
Rumble Dalston
The former General Manager at Soho House is behind the city’s first ‘carbon-neutral’ gym in Dalston, which plants a tree every time a class is booked. From spinning to sparring and deadlifts to detoxes, Rumble has four luxury studios for mind and body. It’s calling itself a ‘gym with a conscious’ and has other eco-initiatives like sustainably sourced products and no single-use plastic on site.
Orangetheory Fitness Fulham
Orangetheory Fitness will add to its growing portfolio of fitness studios with a new site on Fulham Broadway. Orangetheory measures members heart rates whilst they take part in challenging 60-minute sessions using treadmills, rowers and floor-weight exercises. The goal is to spend at least 12 minutes in the Orange (84-91%) or Red (92-100%) zones to burn maximum calories even when your session is over. The new gym are hosting a pre-sale event from 31 January to 2 February to give potential members a chance to meet coaches, find out more about the fitness programmes and snap up exclusive discounts.

Sweat by BXR Canary Wharf
Leading pay-to-train studio, Sweat By BXR has opened a second site in Canary Wharf. It’s the brand’s first stand-alone studio (the first being part of member’s only boxing gym, BXR), and will offer the same group concept classes that have been designed in collaboration with elite coaches, osteopaths and physios to create low impact, balanced workouts. The new space is set to launch lunchtime classes from 4 November, just in time for the party season and perfect for those looking to keep up with their fitness routine despite having a packed festive calendar. Class-goers will be able to make the most of their lunch hour with a 35-minute class designed to be short, sweet and sweaty. For something spookier… get yourself to Sweat by BXR this Thursday evening when signature classes at both studios will be getting a Halloween update. At Canary Wharf, book yourself into The Blair Wharf Project, 6:00-7:30pm.

King of gyms 1Rebel has opened a cool, new dystopian-style studio in Angel. Here, you can partake in 1Rebel’s most gruelling workout – Reshape. With back-to-back quick-fire rounds on the treadmill and dynamic weight sequences, this is a class that will challenge, burn fat and push you to your limits.
