A few years back, it was common knowledge that the City was reserved for business and little else. With the rise in popularity of surrounding locations such as Shoreditch and Farringdon, the number of venues has grown considerably – and it’s now considered one of the more popular London locations for a meal and an evening out. Nestled in the heart of the Devonshire Square development is brasserie and bar Devonshire terrace. The brasserie has a host of semi-alfresco seating alongside a stellar menu, with favourites including Crispy duck salad and Masala spiced chicken. The exterior is covered by a marvellous glass ceiling – creating an alfresco-esque experience whilst being protected from the oh so unpredictable British weather. The interior is sophisticated, with a laid back feel. All in all, Devonshire Terrace is an ideal venue for lunching, after work drinks, alfresco dining and events – which the venue is all too happy to cater to.
If you needed another reason to attend the terrace, the venue has collaborated with TRIP, the UK’s most trusted CBD oils and drinks provider, on a range of 15mg CBD infused tipples. The terrace has been transformed into a floral escape for the partnership.
Upon arrival, myself and my guest were talked through the CBD inclusive menu, made up of a range of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails. Fellow elderflower lovers should opt for ‘Trip spritz’ – containing TRIP elderflower mint and lemon vodka and topped with bubbles, whilst designated drivers (or tube navigators) can enjoy the alcohol free ‘Feeling peachy’.
