The Fount at Selfridges
Fans of White Lyan bar, created by Ryan Chetiyawardana (aka Mr Lyan) shouldn’t miss his latest venture in partnership with Selfridges. Named ‘The Fount’, the 14-seater soda style cocktail bar boasts artful cocktails, enhanced waters and natural wines. Expect drinks inspired by the purest elements.
Ray’s Bar
Coming from the team behind Voodoo Ray’s and Dalston Superstore, Ray’s is a late-night drinking spot in Dalston. Packing in incredible cocktails and a roster of vinyl DJs, it’s a haven away from the bustle of Kingsland High Street. Sample a few tipples from the cocktail menu in the exuberant venue – combining brightly coloured textured interiors with mesmerising mirrored disco walls, and when you get the munchies head upstairs to Voodoo Ray’s for their legendary pizza.
Untitled Bar
Tony Conigliaro, who runs London cocktail bars 69 Colebrooke Row and Bar Termini, opens a new bar in Dalston in January 2017. Simply named ‘Untitled’, it’s inspired by Andy Warhol combining food, drinks, art and design. We also hear it’ll serve 12 original cocktails in bespoke vessels (one of them is called ‘Snow’) and will be open seven days a week, from 11am until late. No plastic cups here.
Enfant Terrible
The brains behind Michelin-starred Pidgin have opened this teeny tiny wine bar, a stripped-back space with 12 metal counter stools and shelves stocked with today’s bottles. A barbershop by day and bar by night, the new opening has a daily changing wine list, cocktails and bar snacks.
Company Below
We’ve always been fans of hidden bar, Company Below, but now we have another reason to visit. It has just been re-launched as a botanical bar, with herbal cocktails such as ‘Smoke Without Fire’ (mezcal, aloe vera, lime, chipotle and rhubarb soda). Oh, and we’ve spied deep fried bao buns on the menu…
