Following the 5-star success of The Panto Adventures of Peter Pan 2022-23, the Towngate Theatre’s spectacular panto for 2023-24 will the fairytale story of Cinderella! They’ll be sure to sweep you off your feet with magic and have you rolling in the aisles with laughter, with their sparkling adventure for all the family!
The Towngate’s award-winning, critically-acclaimed pantomimes are the jewel in the crown of Essex, with their talented panto team winning multiple Great British Pantomime Awards over the years and being awarded 5 star reviews across the board on previous productions.
Their legendary baddie, Sophie Ladds, returns this year as the ultimate female panto villain – the Wicked Stepmother! Their hilarious dame, Ian Hallard, returns for his third year running – he’ll once again be popping on his fabulous frocks and wacky wigs as one of the Ugly Stepsisters. Stewart Briggs joins Ian as his fellow Ugly Stepsister sibling, alongside Alice Hoult as the fairytale Cinderella. Completing the panto dream team will be Luke Ward-Wilkinson as cheeky Buttons, Jack Speck as dreamy Prince Charming and Aaron Bladen as mischievous Dandini.
And of course, Basildon favourite, Simon Fielding, will once again be overseeing this enchanting production as the Co-Producer and Director, bringing his renowned panto magic to every performance.
