The Savoy have teamed up with luxury British perfumers Penhaligon’s to create the ultimate indulgent Mother’s Day treat. Mothers will be treated to a traditional afternoon tea, as well as a stunning bouquet of flowers and Penhaligon’s new eau de parfum, Savoy Steam. This is a soft springlike scent, with notes of aromatic rosemary, fresh geranium and delicate rose.

Sunday Lunch at Number 90

Mother’s Day Menus at Benares
This Mother’s Day, Atul Kochhar’s Michelin-starred Indian restaurant in Mayfair will be celebrating with two limited-edition menus. The first of Beanres’ special offerings is a six-course tasting menu. Dishes include Indian Five Spice Pickled Prawns and Tandoori Chicken Tikka Pie. Further to this there is a divine mixed berry chutney to share and Dal Makhani. Mother’s that choose this menu will also receive a complimentary champagne cocktail. There will additionally be the option to enjoy the meal with a specially curated wine-pairing. Secondly, and equally as indulgent is the a la Carte menu. It will showcase dishes such as crispy soft shell crab with chickpeas, curry leaf and a coconut and tamarind dressing. All mother’s that dine at Benares will then receive a box of chocolates and Indian gifts to take home. Top tip; those that quote ‘Mum’s the word’ will receive a complimentary cocktail on arrival.
Afternoon Tea at the MaE Deli
Deliciously Ella’s cafes are also celebrating Mother’s Day with an Afternoon Tea on Sunday 26th March. Held at both the Weighhouse Street and Seymour Place branches, guests will be treated to a selection of dishes including Seared Polenta with Sweet Potato & Cashew Paté and Avocado on Homemade Buckwheat Blinis. To end, their deliciously indulgent but not-too-naughty Fudgy Brownie Bites. There will be two sittings at the Weighhouse Street branch at 3:30pm and 4pm and a single sitting at Seymour Place at 3:30pm.
