Festival Overview

Pub in the Park, the UK’s premier food and music festival, is set to impress with its latest culinary creations from a collection of the nation’s finest chefs and restaurants. Curated by renowned celebrity chef Tom Kerridge, the festival is famed for its gastronomic delights and boasts an exceptional musical roster. This year’s lineup features notable acts such as Busted, Sam Ryder, Van Morrison, Paloma Faith, Olly Murs, and McFly, promising a feast for the senses.

The festival’s array of participating pubs, restaurants, and chefs from across the UK will present a variety of small plates, each drawing inspiration from their respective culinary journeys and signature establishments. Catering to festival-goers of all ages, child-friendly options will also be available.

In 2024, each establishment will strive to surpass expectations with the introduction of the ‘Pub Special’—a dish that promises to deliver an extraordinary experience with bold flavors and premium ingredients. This initiative will allow chefs to either invent new culinary offerings or reimagine beloved favorites from their menus.

The Hand & Flowers Showcase

Tom Kerridge’s own The Hand & Flowers, a two Michelin-starred pub based in Marlow, guarantees to impress with dishes such as:

  • Nduja Sausage Rolls with Spanish cheese and mashed potato
  • Crispy Goan Cauliflower with sour greens
  • Espelette Pepper Monkfish ‘A La Plancha’ with pineapple salsa and soft tortilla (Tom’s Pub Classic)

Cafe Murano and the Book Club

Angela Hartnett’s Cafe Murano graces the festival for the first time, bringing a literary twist with the Book Club. Festival attendees can engage with authors and sample dishes from their latest cookbooks. Angela’s Italian-inspired offerings include:

  • Lamb Bolognaise Panzotti
  • Tomato & Mozzarella Arancini with spiced basil pesto mayonnaise
  • Chicken Milanese with cabbage slaw and nduja pasta

The Abbey Inn Debut

Chef Tommy Banks debuts The Abbey Inn with selections such as:

  • Lamb Kofta Flatbread with fermented turnip puree
  • Celeriac & Truffle Pie with chips and vegetarian gravy

The Bull and Last’s Gastronomic Experience

Traveling from North London, The Bull and Last, a Top 50 Gastropub, presents:

  • Char Grilled Aged Prime Rib of Beef with cep mushroom ketchup (Pub Special)
  • Sticky Lamb Breast Roll
  • Rueben Fries with salt beef and Russian dressing
  • Seasonal Pea Orzo Risotto for kids

Pitmasters Bar Ticket and BBQ Extravaganza

For 2024, all festival locations will offer the Pitmasters Bar Ticket, featuring British Afghan BBQ by Cue Point. This experience includes a range of dishes such as:

  • Jalapeño Brisket BBQ Glaze Slice
  • Oak Smoked Tamarind Chicken Wings
  • Afghan Naan and Triple Cooked Potatoes
  • Sweet Corn Ribs and Borani Kadoo (Vegan options)

Live Fire Cooking with DJ BBQ

DJ BBQ brings flames and flare to Marlow, delivering a dynamic cooking demonstration perfect for families. His menu includes:

  • 21-hour Smoked Pulled Pork with loaded chips
  • DJ BBQ Piggy Back Sliders
  • Crispy Buffalo Cauliflower slider with celeriac remoulade
