Beauty shopping guide:Â Press re-set with the best skin-loving beauty buys
Words Joy Montgomery
Forget juice cleanses and crash diets: January is all about skin detoxing. Now the seasonal party circus has come to an end it’s time to pare things back and allow your skin to breathe. Eschew heavy foundations and layers of pore-clogging products and instead opt for mineral based make-up, serum-infused bases and hard-working multipurpose products.
Skin detoxing needn’t mean going make-up cold turkey however, with the ‘no make-up make-up’ look being spotted on countless runways this season. Using a select range of products sparingly is the key to this look: a skin-smoothing primer, natural brushed brows, flush of Benetint on lips and cheeks then a dab of highlighter is all you need for a glowing complexion. Remember: less is more.
