The National Theatre’s River Stage Festival returns once again for five free weekends this summer. BAKE FOR SYRIA
This weekend #CookForSyria is branching into Mary Berry territory with it’s first ever charity bake off. #BakeForSyria on Columbia Road welcomes some of the country’s best bakeries, bakers and restaurants to put a Syrian twist on their favourite sweet treats. With over 15 traders, live music and a cake competition for aspiring bakers there is something for all the family. All proceeds from the sales will go to NEXTGen London to help raise funds for Syria and the region.

Ketel One Vodka are joining forces with acclaimed East London eatery Paradise Garage for a Dutch summer season. Championing brunch the Ketel One way, cocktails will match perfectly with brunch dishes from Robin Gill, while Michael Zee of Symmetry Breakfast social media fame adds a Dutch twist. The iconic terrace at Paradise Garage has also been given a summer makeover, so guests can enjoy their Dutch experience al fresco.
THE ULTIMATE GIN EVENT WITH WARNER EDWARDS
For one week only, Jason Atherton’s Temple & Sons are hosting the ultimate event for gin-lovers. Head over to the garden terrace for the chance to try the latest offering from craft gin producers Warner Edwards. The limited edition gin was created in collaboration with Jardin Blanc at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. It has a unique recipe that includes fresh elderflower heads hand-picked from the Warner Edwards Botanical Garden on Falls Farm. The gin will be available exclusively on the terrace, along with Warner Edwards’ award-winning elderflower and rhubarb variants.
