THE LONG & SHORT TAILS VOL. 2
Following the success of the speakeasy’s first playful menu and in celebration of World Book Day this week, The Blind Pig will be launching the second series of its Long & Short Great British Tails. This creative menu features eight new cocktails and four reworked classics, giving patrons the chance to travel through the pages of their favourite childhood stories with clever flavours and gastronomic twists.
RHYTHM & REACTION
To mark 100 years of jazz in the UK, Rhythm & Reaction: The Age of Jazz in Britain brings together paintings, prints, cartoons, textiles, ceramics, film, instruments and sound to explicitly examine the impact of jazz on British art, design and wider society. A series of complementary events will run along this, including workshops, music events, children’s activities and more for the whole family.
SOMNAI
Immersive theatre meets sleep therapy in SOMNAI, the eagerly anticipated “lucid dreaming” experience that promises to help you master your subconscious mind. Why settle for who you are, when you can be more? Brought to you by DotDotDot, SOMNAI will awaken your human senses with a 90 minute, six-person group sessions that incorporate live performance, multi-sensory elements and technology.
SAMPLE AT GREENWICH PENINSULA
This weekend, London’s newest creative neighbourhood, Greenwich Peninsula presents the return of SAMPLE, bringing together the best in emerging talents from the worlds of fashion, design and beauty. This unique pop-up urban market celebrates London’s homegrown talent with everything on offer, from seasonal fresh produce and street food to fashion and musical entertainment.
NUMBER 90’S 4TH BIRTHDAY
Number 90 is turning four and to celebrate are throwing a four-day humdinger of a party. The free weekend promises an eclectic mix of live music, special guest DJs, interactive entertainment, music, art, dancing and delicious food and drink.

MARCH4WOMEN
In the year that marks the 100th anniversary since some women got the vote in the UK and when #MeToo shook the world, #March4Women invites you to do your bit in ending ongoing gender disparities in the workplace. Join Sue Perkins, Sadiq Khan, Helen Pankhurst and Bianca Jagger as they stomp through central London. There’ll also by speeches by gender equality campaigners, music and entertainment.
HARMONICS IN SPACE
Learn to find joy in light and colour at NOW Gallery as it transforms into a destination for wellbeing. Fred Butler’s Harmonics in Space will see the venue metamorphose into a therapeutic retreat comprising immersive sculptures that invite visitors to peer inside to discover the interplay between the conscious and unconscious psyche, stimulate the imagination and release creativity.
HOUSE OF HOLI
Back for its fourth year running, #HouseofHOLI invites you to don your protective white suit and step into the madness of Cinnamon Kitchen. Enjoy thirty minutes of paint-pelting friends, family and colleagues to mark the Indian festival of colour, before devouring a five-course Holi feast featuring the likes of chicken papdi chaat, lamb shammi kebab and a hot caramelised milk dumpling for dessert.
