Bookatable’s Feast on London Festival
We’re undeniably a nation of historical foodies. Bookatable are celebrating Britain’s food heritage with some of London’s oldest restaurants. A number of new but historical menus are available to demonstrate how dining has evolved. From Victorian banquets to gourmet Gatsby dishes, Feast on London offers it all. For one month, head to The Waldorf for a 1920’s Flapper Feast. Alternatively, try the Savoy Grill’s historical trendsetters. On offer is Scallop & Shrimp Bouillabaisse, followed by a dessert of Bombe Nero. Gillray’s Steak House are also getting in on the action with a selection of dishes fit for a king. They’re menu includes boiled pork with pickled onions and a main of minced veal cutlets.
Host a Dinner Party with Diageo’s Sharing Series
With the popularity of sharing food changing the way we eat, a plain old bottle of wine no longer cuts the mustard. Instead, grab your mates and opt for these novel and delicious group serves this weekend. Diageo have teamed with Alex Head, Founder of Social Pantry, and Carl Brown, Head of Drinks at Dishoom. Street Dance Showcase in a Gin Distillery
Celebrate the sixth installment of the London Tonic Series this weekend. Beefeater are again hosting, this time bringing urban dance in from the streets. Enjoy a free hip-hop dance showcase at its iconic gin distillery. Free gin cocktails will be served throughout, making this an event not to be missed.
Breddos X Som Saa
After the success with Guerrilla Tacos, Breddos are hosting another exciting TacOver. This weekend, Breddos and Som Saa will be fusing their famous flavours for a one off Mexi-Thai Sunday BBQ. A collaborative one-day-only menu will feature an array of creative dishes. Try red curry short rib tacos with blackened pineapple nam prik. Devine. Alternatively, whole salt-crusted sea bass with habanero jaew. As for drinks, there’ll be Singha slushies, Mezcal Margaritas and Som Tam Chillibacks.
