Absolutely London rounds up the best places to get piercings in the capital
By Pendle Harte
Mejuri
Mejuri’s new Covent Garden piercing studio takes a very professional approach. Enter a sleek green basement treatment room for a consultation and choose from a wide selection of pretty 14k gold and titanium studs (lots of sparkly gems as well as stars, moons and thunderbolts and more) and then lie back and relax. Aftercare is excellent – you’ll leave with a bottle of saline and a follow-up invitation – but don’t forget your photo ID because that’s a requirement here.

Lark and Berry
Lark and Berry’s range of fine piercing jewellery is vast, with delicate and pretty ruby, sapphire and diamond studs in the George Street store. The jewellery experts pierce each part of the ear from lobe to helix, snug and rook all while using their stunning range of earrings.

Maria Tash
Maria Tash has been a designer of fine body jewellery for over two decades. The brand started out in New York and has since crossed waters to arrive as a piercing studio at Liberty London, where clients are treated to the luxury of private rooms with styling advice and gem-set jewellery. Prices do not include jewellery but piercings can be done on the ear, nose, nipple and navel.
Tada & Toy
London-based design studio Tada & Toy has partnered with beauty concierge Ruuby to launch the capital’s first on-demand piercing service. The 30 minute package starts at £120 and includes a gold or silver-plated earring with a star, heart or gem design, plus there is an option to host a ‘piercing party’ for three or more people from £240.
Dinny Hall
Dinny Hall hosts luxe ear piercing events at her Covent Garden store each month. Choose from a special selection of studs and hoops made especially for ear piercing in solid gold, white gold and rose gold. With the popularity of these events, Dinny Hall highly recommends booking in advance and earrings start at £70 per person with the piercing service itself free but requiring a £10 deposit.
